Area Information & Activities

Beach couple relaxingThe City of Madeira Beach, Florida – population 4,200 – is joined to the mainland by a causeway. It is located between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach, and is a more quiet alternative to Clearwater and St. Pete beaches.

Along with the beaches, John’s Pass Village – a historic fisherman's settlement – attracts visitors. Today, dozens of shops & informal dining spots line its boardwalk. In addition, almost any type of water-related activity is available at John's Pass Village. For example, you can charter a fishing boat... rent personal watercraft... go parasailing... or take a casino boat cruise.

And, Madeira Beach has crafts and art exhibits and festivals throughout the year, along with a Veteran’s Day and Christmas boat parade.

Within walking distance of us, you will find:

  • Public access to the magnificent, sunny Gulf beaches
  • Informal dining at several restaurants, including Dockside Dave’s and others along the boulevard
  • John’s Pass Village, off Gulf Boulevard between 131st and 129th Aves.
